Behind the Scenes

Filming and editing our MV took around 3 weeks and although we encountered our stresses and obstacles, we genuinely had a lot of fun generating concepts and putting our vision together. Our group consisted of only two members! (Diana Lomani and Lucy Brignell)…well three if you include James Haskin, who patiently helped us through our whining and confusion and without him our music video would not have had that professional touch to it.

Inspiration

Before we were even given the brief for our FMP, Lucy and I already knew what song we wanted to do. Virtual Reality by Renforshort was the song we wanted and after being told our FMP had to revolve around the theme of ‘time’, it felt like fate! We decided to base our entire concept in the future, a world in which we believe will be virtual and quite isolating. We took inspiration from Doja Cat’s mv ‘cybersex’ and replicated graphics similar to hers.
