Some Days is an abstract reflection of contemporary youth culture in the city of London, revolving around a series of varied locations and myriad subjects that relate to the theme of youth culture.
The music video shows the diversity between different youth social groups and through consistent sequences of ‘freeze framed’ subjects in a moving location probe whether these groups are irreconcilable.
The characters are representative of London’s modern youth society who resist adult definition and are sometimes demonised as roadmen, skaters, ravers, chavs, LGBTQ, and nerds to mention a few.
In 2 minutes and 53 seconds the song by the British sing writer Sam Cotton titled ‘Some Days’ is used in the music video to explore the manner that modern youth express their identities.
